Heckuva good two weeks

So in the last week and a half, I caught my biggest fish ever (a 5-1/2 pound, 29" northern pike); I saw an awesome performance by my favorite band, who no one thought would ever tour again, The Police; my Blues signed a serious high-end free agent in Paul Kariya (and brought back a good player in KT), affirming they are not going to be content being .500 next year; and to top it off my employer is adjusting compensation for a lot of our positions and I got a respectable bump out of it.

Happy 4th of July. A sincere thanks to all the veterans, past and present. I feel fortunate to live in this great country.
